The winter is finally back in Carinthia. The last two weeks I have been suffering from a cold as well. So I could not do any training and now it's terrible cold (-10 degrees) and the streets are really covered with snow.
In such a situation it's time to sit back because in 2-3 weeks the weather conditions will be better and I can resume my training. On the other hand my body needs some rest as well because I feel a little bit weak in recent times.
I have read in a magazine about an interesting event, "urbanathlon", maybe an exciting project for this year?

27,1 km, week report
27,1 running km this week, it's my best week this year. So I have to be satisfied, we can make a party :-)
But the training conditions are currently not really great. Under the week it's dark and on the weekend it's cloudy and cold. Also the streets are covered with ice and salt. My timeframe for running is also very small. For example, yesterday I was stuck in a programming problem and once there was no time for training.
I plan for the next week three training days. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, so wish me luck!

week report
This week I have done 2 trainings, one with 10,82 and an other one with 7,97 km.
This is still to less, but yesterday I read the following sentence:
No matter how slow you go, your are still lapping everybody on the couch.

week report
22 running km this week are good and an further step in the right direction. One importend point to control the heart rate are the climbs. So for me it's easy to control my heart rate on a course with out or with less climbs.
The perfect time for me to run within the right heart range is in the evening when it is dark.
But there are some scheduling problems I have to fix, because I need 3-4 runs per week.

My good New Year's resolution is to beat this 919 running km from the last year :-), this is one of my mileage over the last few years, but it will be better this year ;-)
